“What sets them apart is their ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, seamlessly jumping from task to task without losing focus or momentum. They bring a rare mix of skills across disciplines, paired with strong instincts and composure, making them both highly effective and a natural standout.”
What inspired you to pursue a career in your industry, and what path brought you to your current role? I grew up immersed in commercial real estate, watching my grandfather and mother build careers in a business that is fast paced, strategic, and deeply relationship driven. It always felt exciting and naturally drew me in. While I knew I would join our family company, I took time to explore marketing and law, which helped shape my perspective and values. Those experiences taught me how to think critically, communicate effectively, and lead with fairness. Today, as a fifth generation member, I take pride in carrying that legacy forward.
Who has been a mentor or influential figure in your career, and what is the most valuable advice they have shared with you? Not to sound cliché, but my mother has been my greatest influence. In a traditionally male dominated industry, she built The Saunders Real Estate Company’s reputation in Boston with remarkable strength, poise, and consistency. She leads with quiet confidence and earns respect through action. The most valuable advice she has given me is that reputation is everything and integrity is non negotiable, a standard that continues to guide how I approach every relationship and decision.
What accomplishment or project so far in your career are you most proud of? One accomplishment I am especially proud of is leading the transformation of our company’s website to reflect a more modern and forward looking brand, a project I have poured a great deal of energy into and am excited to see launch soon. I have also closed impactful deals, including one with an Israeli tech company negotiated in Hebrew at 3am, a moment that felt both personal and energizing. Just as meaningful has been bringing spaces to life for prospective tenants and helping them truly see the potential of where they can grow and thrive.
