What advice or perspective would you share with women building their careers in commercial real estate?
Raise your hand for the assignment nobody wants. Complexity is where you build credibility fastest, and it is where people learn what you are actually capable of. Second, get comfortable saying the difficult thing early. Owners do not remember who was agreeable. They remember who was right about the schedule. And once you have your footing, turn around. I have spent years leading employee resource groups and standing in high school classrooms because the pipeline does not build itself.
