What person, project, transaction or market trend had the greatest impact on your industry this year?
The biggest impact on our industry this year was the return to office. Many companies instilling the hybrid model, or no required return put landlords in a motivated position to repurpose their spaces. There was ample activity in submarkets, such as Lincoln and Warwick. There was also a gear shift, from the beginning of the year in purchasing to the end of the year in leasing. Overall, the hesitation of return continues to still impact how and where productivity occurs.
