The R.I. chapter of the Associated General Contractors (RIAGC) has elected David Rampone to a two-year term as president. He also continues as a national life director of the Associated General Contractors. Rampone is president of Hart Engineering, an organization of the fully integrated design, engineering and construction Hart Companies of Cumberland.
The RIAGC also elected the following commercial construction executives to two-year terms:
* Thomas Comella, regional operations manager, Gilbane Building Co., Providence, to the position of vice president. He most recently served the RIAGC as secretary.
* David Ducharme, a principal and project manager, E. Turgeon Construction Corp., Cranston, secretary.
* Edward Burman Jr., president of E.W. Burman Inc., Warwick, treasurer, a position he has held for several terms.
