Angel Commercial leases 11,840 s/f to Sam's Food Storage in Stratford

According to Jon Angel, president of Angel Commercial LLC, Sam's Food Store Inc. has leased 11,840 s/f of space at 1895 Stratford Ave. Sam's Food Store will be using the space to accommodate its needs for additional wholesale storage and distribution of convenience store merchandise. "Close to I-95, Exit 31, the accessibility of this space plus high ceilings and clear span construction make it ideal for the intended use," said Angel, who represented the landlord in the transaction. "There are still 4,500 s/f available in this 36,000 s/f building on 2.64 acres." Sam's Food Stores is a privately held company with a corporate office located in Southington. The first Sam's Food Store opened on August 11, 1992 and has since grown to over 150 retail locations throughout the New England region.
