Richard Ashworth and June Fish of Ashworth Mortgage Corp. have recently placed both construction and fixed rate permanent financing in the amount of $13,640,261 for a 57,843 s/f office building. The loan was placed with a local bank.
The subject property is an office building located at 4040 Mystic Valley Pkwy. and is leased to the Commonwealth of Mass. Middlesex District Court. This free standing building will be the new home of the Middlesex South District Court.
When asked to comment, Ashworth said "This project is a total gut rehab of a former office building into a court house complete with holding cells. Due to the court's strict timetable for occupancy, we were happy to be able to provide our client with a lender who understood the needs for expediency".
