BayCoast Bank opens Providence loan office; Offers commercial lending

BayCoast Bank has officially come to the city, with the opening of a new loan office at 10 Dorrance St., dedicated to commercial lending.
The loan office, a 1,300 s/f space in the downtown section, officially opened September 8th. Initially, it will be staffed with two commercial lending officers.
The loan office marks the bank's second location in Rhode Island. Their other Rhode Island presence is Tiverton at 1 Crandall Rd. The bank also has a location in nearby Seekonk, Mass.
Nicholas Christ, president and CEO of BayCoast Bank, said, "We have been looking at a Rhode Island expansion for some time now, and we look forward to expanding our footprint with this Providence location." He added, "Providence is a vibrant market and we look forward to serving the needs of the region."
The bank begins its operations by having commercial lending officers Michael Paiva and Joseph Sheehan based out of the new office.
