Bowden of R. Calabrese Agency leases 10,000 s/f

Bob Bowden of the R. Calabrese Agency, LLC completed a 10,000 s/f lease at 117 East Aurora Street on behalf of B&V Realty. The tenant, AutoPart International will be relocating to the East Aurora St. property from their current location on Hamilton Ave. Their newer, larger facility is located between two exit ramps to Rte. 8, less than one mile from I-84. AutoPart International's corporate headquarters and main distribution center are located in Mass. AutoPart International operates over 200 branch stores employing over 1,700 people. With over 50 years' experience in the automotive aftermarket, AutoPart International is the leader in aftermarket parts business. The company was founded in 1957 by Stephen Patkin, who took a summer job sourcing parts for his family's Fiat/Renault car dealership. The need for these hard to source parts was the catalyst for Patkin to start what is today one of the industry's fastest growing automotive parts supplier. Vance Taylor of Commercial Realty Group represented the tenant AutoPart International and Bowden represented the property owner, B&V Realty.

Goldberg of Spire Investments purchases Beverly portfolio for $9.2m

Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.
