Durham, NH United Multi Family brokered the sale of a 67 unit student housing portfolio totaling 131 beds located at 10-14 Stratford St. for $5.35 million ($79,851 per unit). Located just blocks from the UNH Campus and downtown Durham the sale was handled by Jason Braun of UMF. The brick residences were sold by a Student Housing Group to a Boston Area investor with financing provided by Belmont Savings Banks. Utilizing the 1031 tax deferred exchange the buyers were able to defer paying capital gains taxes on their recent sale of a multi-family.
