Providence, RI Hayes & Sherry closed a $3.7 million sale of two apartment buildings on the East Side of the city. The properties, located at 88 and 100 Taft Ave., comprise a total of 29 residential units.

The buildings were sold by Sessions/Taft Apartments, LLC. Derek Brazeau, the multifamily division leader for Hayes & Sherry, facilitated the deal on behalf of the firm.

“This business is all about relationships, and our relationship with both clients made this a great deal to expedite through the sales process,” said Brazeau. “These are high demand residential units in a very desirable area of the capital city. The buyer is extremely happy to acquire properties in such a tremendous location.”

Close to nearby Hope St. and overlooking Brown Stadium, 100 Taft Ave. is a more than century-old, three-story brick building with 20 apartments. Its neighboring 88 Taft property was built in 1930 and features nine apartment units.
