Centercorp Retail Properties buys 25,000 s/f retail property for $2.5 million

Salem-based shopping center developer Centercorp Retail Properties has purchased The Center at Vernon Circle, a 25,000 s/f retail property at 378 Kelly Rd. for $2.5 million. The plaza is currently 76% occupied with tenants that include Goodyear Tire, Rita's ice cream and Velvet Touch hair salon, among others. Centercorp purchased the property from Rockville Bank. Centercorp Retail Properties specializes in the development, redevelopment, management and acquisition of retail shopping centers. During its 30 year operation, Centercorp has developed and purchased in excess of $250 million worth of real estate throughout New England and the southeast. The company tenant roster includes retailers such as Whole Foods, CVS, Stop and Shop and Starbucks.
