Cheeta Soga, PE, LEED AP BD+C, and Jennifer Johnson, PE, LEED AP BD+C, of Nitsch Engineering, together with Pallavi Kalia Mande of the Charles River Watershed Association, will be presenting Restoring Water Balance: From the Corner Lot to the Watershed at the Southern New England American Planning Association (SNEAPA) conference on October 20. Their presentation will explore the many facets of restoring the water balance, from science-based watershed programs, to municipal stormwater planning projects, to site-specific green infrastructure improvements. It also will include a discussion of the Charles River Watershed Association's Blue Cities Initiative.
The SNEAPA Conference, themed Innovative Planning in the New Economy, provides information and resources for public and private sector planning professionals, educators, citizens, business leaders, planning commissioners, and elected officials. Over 35 conference sessions address the information communities need today and for planning for tomorrow. The SNEAPA Conference is hosted by the Conn., Mass. and R.I. Chapters of the American Planning Association.
