Providence, RI The newest apartment building along the Providence River in Fox Point is finally complete as Churchill and Banks completed its 580 South Water project.
580 South Water is a 69-unit apartment building that began construction in 2017.
President and CEO of Churchill and Banks, Richard Baccari II, said, “Throughout the pandemic, there were times I thought that this project was never going to be finished. I am so proud of the hard work and perseverance of so many people that were a part of this project.”
Apartments are equipped with in-unit washer and dryer, quartz countertops with waterfall edges, stainless steel appliances, and triple-pane Pella windows. Many units also have private balconies. Since the first tenants moved in May 8th, apartments have begun to fill up quickly. Tenants also have access to an amenity deck overlooking the Providence River and Narragansett Bay, a 24/7 fitness center, two public lounge/work spaces, onsite parking, and 24/7 maintenance.
580 South Water is five minutes from the downtown, the hospitals, Brown University, the East Side, and many other attractions. Residents also have the new Providence River Bridge, India Point Park, and the Newport/Block Island Ferry within a few minutes of walking distance.
