December 31, 2008 - Northern New England
Cobb Hill Construction, Inc. has completed four area projects; the dental office of Dr. Rosato, the renovation of Holy Trinity Church in Concord, window replacement at Plymouth State University in Plymouth, and the AAA office in Manchester.
The multi-phase dental office fit-up for Dr. Laurie Rosato in Concord included the combination of existing office space with an adjacent tenant space. The new 1,638 s/f office features four operatories and two hygienist's suites, all new wooden doors, and quartz solid surface counter tops.
The renovation of Concord's Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church involved 3,000 s/f of space which required major demolition. The new space includes two new ADA compliant restrooms, an entirely new heating system, additional ventilation in the bell tower, and a new fire alarm system. Additionally, a new elevator was installed to provide ADA access to the sanctuary, kitchen, and office area.
Plymouth State University recently acquired a new church in need of refurbishing for campus use. Cobb Hill was contracted to assist in the careful removal of 35 old wood-framed, stained-glass windows and the replacement of the building's conventional windows with energy efficient Marvin windows.
Frequent client AAA of New England contracted Cobb Hill for the construction of a new single story, 3,000 s/f, wood framed office building in Manchester. The new energy efficient South Willow St. office features an open floor plan and a small kitchenette.
"Current economic conditions have halted construction projects in many markets," said Jerry Kingwill, principal of Cobb Hill Construction.
