Consulting Engineering Services elevates Ben-Habib and Gebrian to principal among other promotions

Middletown, CT Consulting Engineering Services (CES), a multi-disciplined MEP/FP engineering firm with eight offices nationwide, has made a series of leadership promotions reflecting the firm’s continued growth and commitment to technical excellence.

Annette Ben-Habib, PE, has been promoted to principal. Based in CES’ South Florida office, Ben-Habib is an analytical and strategic leader managing complex public- and private-sector projects. Her work includes high-end luxury residential developments throughout South Florida as well as the successful remediation of a newly constructed fire station in Fort Lauderdale that faced environmental and occupancy challenges.

Eric Gebrian, PE, has been elevated to principal and is based in CES’ Connecticut office. A collaborative and solutions-oriented leader, Gebrian supports sustainable design initiatives across the firm and has contributed to a range of institutional projects throughout the Northeast, including work for Yale University and Columbia University.

Prior to joining CES seven years ago, Ben-Habib served as director of sustainable facilities for the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. She is a licensed professional engineer and holds certifications as a building commissioning professional and energy manager.

Gebrian is known for his practical approach to sustainable building systems that balance performance, maintainability, and budget. He remains actively engaged in the profession through conference speaking, staff mentorship, and instruction at the Yale School of Architecture.

In addition to the principal promotions, CES announced the following advancements:

• Associate: Matt Couciero, PE

• Project manager: John Winfield

• Senior engineers: Elias Peralta-Cruz; Ryan Erland, EIT

• Senior designer: Kevin Kane
