CresaPartners represents Affymetrix in 80,000 s/f sublease
Dan Sullivan, Adam Subber, and Joe Sciolla of CresaPartners in Boston recently represented Affymetrix in a sublease of 80,000 s/f at 16 Crosby Dr. The two-story, stand-alone R&D facility is part of an eight-building, 500,000 s/f business park.
Affymetrix, which applies the principles of semiconductor technology to the life sciences, is moving operations closer to its headquarters in California. As the sublandlord in this transaction, Affymetrix is subleasing its space to Zink Imaging, a printing company with an ink-free system.
Zink, the new subtenant, was represented by Jack Kerrigan of Grubb & Ellis and will occupy the entire building. Zink, which is relocating from Waltham, was looking to expand into a "plug-and-play" location.
The landlord of the building is Boston Properties.
