The redevelopment of the former "Ritz Camera Building" a three-story brick building located at 62 Orange St. in downtown is nearly complete. Previously, the building served as the headquarters for Ritz Camera which included their retail store on the ground level, corporate offices on the second floor, and a photo-processing lab on the top floor.
The developers, Jordan Durham and Cris Crecelius of D+P Real Estate Advisors, LLC purchased the 5,200 s/f building from Ritz Camera in May 2010. The new owners have re-positioned the property to house a new restaurant, McKinley's Congress Tavern on the ground level, open loft-style office space on the second floor, and a 2 bedroom /2 bath luxury penthouse apartment on the third floor.
Presently the restaurant is under construction with an anticipated opening date of this spring, the office renovations are complete.
