Agueda Del Borgo

Warwick, RI Agueda Del Borgo of Places and Spaces Realty was chosen by her peers as the Rhode Island Association of Realtors’ (RIAR) 2024 Rhode Island Realtor of the Year.

Del Borgo, a 22-year veteran of the real estate profession, has served in various leadership roles for local, state and national Realtor associations. She was the 2022 president of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors and has served on its board of directors since 2014. She is also a past president of the Greater Providence Board of Realtors where she was the recipient of the board’s 2015 Realtor of the Year Award. In 2020, she earned a Lear Award in recognition of her leadership in the real estate industry and vast community involvement.

This year, her roles on the Pawtucket Zoning Board and as 2024 chair of the Greater Providence Board’s C.A.R.E Foundation, were just two of the many civic and charitable causes that exemplify her commitment to enhancing Rhode Island’s communities.

As this year’s winner of the Greater Providence Board’s Realtor of the Year Award, Del Borgo was one of five local Realtor board candidates for the statewide Rhode Island Realtor of the Year Award. Other candidates included Ryan Antrop of Residential Properties, Christina Rouse of Sweeney Real Estate & Appraisal, Rhonda Mesenbourg of Keller Williams Coastal, and Nick Slocum of Slocum Realty.

Del Borgo’s Realtor service is not confined to state borders. She has served on the National Association of Realtors board of directors and professional development committee, and is slated to serve as the chair of the Association’s Global Business Councils Forum, of which she is vice chair.

The award recognizes one of nearly 6,000 Realtors throughout the state for their dedication to the Realtor organization and their local communities.
