AGC of Massachusetts is a professional construction association representing firms that provide building construction services for commercial and institutional clients in the Commonwealth. Begun in 1935, the Association offers valuable management education, safety training, and advocacy for its members and the industry at large. The Association is a building chapter of the national association, Associated General Contractors of America, which began in 1935 at the behest of President Wilson. The goal was to assist the government in planning for the advancement of the nation, an objective that AGC has been fulfilling since that time. Locally, the chapter works closely with all facets of the industry to offer fair business practices for all participants.
