Elliot & Co. brokers 900 s/f lease on behalf of CMI Properties

Elliot & Co. LLC, a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm, has negotiated a 900 s/f lease to Eveden Inc. on behalf of CMI Properties at 800 Providence Highway. CMI Properties is adding 5,000 s/f of retail space to the existing strip mall at the site. Eveden Group is an international designer and manufacturer of fashion-conscious lingerie and swimwear catering for women from an A to K cup and specializing in fuller-busted and fuller-figured collections. Headquartered in Northamptonshire, United Kingdom, Eveden was acquired by Wacoal Holdings Corp. of Japan in March. The firm's North American division is based in Boston's Hyde Park neighborhood. In recent months, Elliot & Co. also has brought Dunkin' Donuts and European Wax Center as tenants to the 800 Providence Highway retail site, which is located along Route 1 directly across from Dedham Plaza and immediately adjacent to the new, upscale Legacy Place mall. Managed by Norwood, Mass.-based CMI Property Inc., the new retail addition brings the total square footage at the two-building retail portfolio at 800 Providence Highway to 50,000 s/f. Elliot & Co. is the exclusive leasing agent for the property. Another 900 s/f of end-cap space remains available for lease at 800 Providence Highway. "We're very pleased to introduce a high-end seller of intimate apparel such as Eveden to this prime retail space," said Elliot Ravech, president and principal of Elliot & Co. "Located near Legacy Place and across from street from Dedham Plaza, 800 Providence Highway is certain to draw the type of upscale shoppers to whom Eveden caters." Ravech added that the remaining 900 s/f retail space is ideal for smaller tenants including coffee shops, clothing and gift shops or retailers providing personal services. Tracy Lewis, CEO of Eveden, said, "We are delighted to be opening an Eveden Factory Store in Dedham. Our brands have a great presence in the area already, so we hope the opening of our new store will strengthen this and appeal to existing as well as new customers." Existing tenants in the two-building portfolio at 780-800 Providence Highway include Bed Bath & Beyond, Verizon Wireless, The Vitamin Shoppe and Massage Envy.
