Essex Bank continues to celebrate 175 years with a contribution to the Clinton Art Society

Clinton, CT As part of its 175th anniversary celebration, Essex Bank continued its celebration with a contribution of $1,851 to the Clinton Art Society (CAS). The monthly donation amount of $1,851 reflects the bank’s founding year.

“We are incredibly proud to support the Clinton Art Society through this gift,” said Essex Bank president and CEO Lynn Giroux. “Art brings immense value to our community, and the Clinton Art Society has been a cornerstone of that cultural enrichment for decades.”

The Clinton Art Society was established in 1949 and serves artists across Connecticut and New England. The organization will use the funds to help sustain its local programming, artist resources, and public exhibitions. CAS showcases regional artwork at its main gallery inside the Andrews Memorial Town Hall at 54 East Main St. in Clinton, as well as several satellite gallery spaces.
