Matt Fair of Cushman & Wakefield | Hayes & Sherry has sold two properties in the financial district in the fourth quarter totaling $1.95 million.
The first, 143 Westminster St., a three-story 15,000 s/f mixed-use property with first floor retail space and upper floor office space is located between the high foot traffic corridors of Westminster St. and Kennedy Plaza. The property was sold for $1.15 million.
Fair represented the seller 143 Westminster LLC, a JV partnership between Peter Gill Case of Truth Box, Inc, and Jordan Durham of D&P Real Estate. The new owners plan to continue to operate the property in its current use.
The second, 32 Custom House S., a 13,750 s/f historic office building, was sold for $800,000. Fair represented the seller Omni Capital Partners. The buyer, ASHNYC, plan to fully renovate the property and convert to residential apartments on the upper floors with the first floor being converted to retail. ASHNYC, a Brooklyn, N.Y. based investment and development firm is the same developer that recently competed the new Dean Hotel in downtown Providence.
