Fair of Hayes & Sherry R.E. sells 7,000 s/f office bldg. for $890,000
Hayes & Sherry Real Estate Services sold 301 Friendship St. The 7,000 s/f historic office building sold for $890,000. The property was originally built in 1853 and was used as a jewelry manufacturing facility. According to the seller, the building is listed on the local historic registry and is protected as an historic property.
The seller, a local architect, purchased the building in 1987 and converted the building to office space. The new owner plans to move into the building during the fourth quarter of 2009. As a condition of the sale the seller will lease back the entire building until that time.
