Finard Properties names CBRE-Grossman Retail Advisors exclusive leasing agent for 300,000 s/f Mohegan Sun Massachusetts project

Boston based commercial development and investment company Finard Properties, has named CBRE-Grossman Retail Advisors exclusive leasing agent for the retail, restaurant and entertainment component of the proposed Mohegan Sun Massachusetts destination resort casino. The 300,000 s/f retail and lifestyle complex will be comprised of retail stores, fine dining and casual restaurants, nightclubs, and entertainment facilities. "We are proud to announce that CBRE-Grossman Retail Advisors, the region's leading retail property and leasing manager, will lend its expertise to the Mohegan Sun Massachusetts Palmer project," said Todd Finard, chief executive officer of Finard Properties, which has partnered with Mohegan Sun to develop the retail complex as well as an aquatic adventure park and two hotels. "We are delighted to be working on this exciting development with Finard Properties and Mohegan Sun, two first-class organizations," said Howard Grossman, president of CBRE-GRA. "There's no question that we are creating a dynamic world-class gaming and lifestyle destination with exciting shopping, dining, entertainment and lodging that will draw visitors from near and far." Grossman's development company, Grossman Development Group, will also join Finard as a development partner in the retail/restaurant/entertainment complex.

Goldberg of Spire Investments purchases Beverly portfolio for $9.2m

Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.
