Greater Providence Board of Realtors accepting applications for 2024 Diversity Scholarship Program

Providence, RI The Greater Providence Board of Realtors (GPBOR) is accepting applications for its 2024 Diversity Scholarship Program. Three scholarships, offering up to $1,500 per person, will be awarded on a limited rolling basis until November 15, 2024. Residents of Rhode Island from minority or underrepresented backgrounds, who have graduated high school or its equivalent, and are enthusiastic about kick starting their career in real estate, are encouraged to apply. Recipients of these scholarships can utilize the funds for Rhode Island pre-licensing classes, as well as real estate application and license fees. According to GPBOR president Kevin Shepherd, the association introduced these scholarships in 2021 to champion diversity and amplify representation within the real estate industry.

The Greater Providence Board of Realtors is a chartered member Board of the National Association of Realtors.
