Halprin of New England Retail Properties leases 22,140 s/f to Planet Fitness in Springfield

Springfield, MA Matthew Halprin, principal of New England Retail Properties, Inc., completed the leasing of 22,140 s/f to Planet Fitness located at the corner of Parker St. and Boston Rd.

New England Retail Properties, Inc., as the exclusive broker for the ownership, was the only real estate broker involved in the transaction.
T & R Fitness, the Western Massachusetts Planet Fitness franchisee, based in Chicopee, Mass. now operates nine full-service facilities in Western Mass. The property was previously a Circuit City electronics store that closed several years ago. The landlord is Basser Kaufman 312, LLC, a Woodmere, N.Y.-based shopping center owner and developer with more than 30 shopping centers in N.Y., N.J., Conn. and Mass.
