Halprin of New England Retail Props. brokers 3,000 s/f lease
According to New England Retail Properties, Inc., a Wethersfield-based full service shopping center leasing and marketing company, Matthew Halprin, principal and vice president, exclusively represented the landlord, Redmond Manchester Properties, in leasing 3,000 s/f at Gateway Plaza (Deming St. at Hale Rd.) in the Buckland Hills area.
Cellular Connection, a division of Moorhead Communications, is part of the Verizon Network of retailer dealer stores and is based in Indianapolis, Ind. They currently operate more than 250 locations throughout the midwest and are expanding into New York and New England. Mike Hotarek of Eastern Retail Properties based in Newton, Mass., their exclusive broker, represented the tenant in this transaction.
Gateway Plaza is one of the prominent strip shopping centers in the regional retail area of Manchester and co-tenants include Walgreens, Panera Bread, Aspen Dental, T-Mobile, FedEx/Kinkos, Applebees and more.

Wakefield, NC Wilder and Greenberg Gibbons have formed a joint venture to acquire Wakefield Commons, a 163,975 s/f shopping center located in the high-growth submarket of Raleigh, N.C. The acquisition marks a significant milestone for both firms – representing Wilder’s entry into the North Carolina market
