Integrated Builders completes 200,000 s/f office/manufacturing space for L-3 Communications

Integrated Builders, a construction management, design-build and general contracting firm, recently completed interior construction and fit-up of a 200,000 s/f office and manufacturing facility for L-3 Communications.
L-3 Communications, which employs over 64,000 people worldwide, is a prime contractor in aircraft modernization and maintenance, C(3)ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) systems and government services. L-3 is also a leading provider of high technology products, subsystems and systems.
"It was a large and exciting project for us. We're very pleased that this office and manufacturing construction project was completed ahead of schedule to the complete satisfaction of our client," said Jay Dacey, president of Integrated Builders. "We converted the interior of a large warehouse building into a state of the art 65,000 s/f office and 135,000 s/f manufacturing space."
L-3 consolidated several locations at their new facility which is located at 2 Nemco Way.
In addition to interior fit-out, Integrated also installed new mechanical and electrical systems and a new compressed air and vacuum system.
Architect for the project was Harvard-based Maugel Architects, Inc.
