JLL’s PDS delivers 30,000 s/f XtremePlay Adrenaline Park

Danbury, CT JLL’s Project and Development Services (PDS) announced today the completion of Danbury Entertainment Associates’ multimillion-dollar renovation of a 30,000 s/f property named XtremePlay Adrenaline Park.

The site was a former New York Sports Club that is now converted into an indoor amusement facility featuring a ninja warrior course, laser tag, virtual reality, mini-bowling, bumper cars, Ballocity, high ropes course, rock climbing wall, a 5-D theatre, arcade games, bistro and more.  Danbury Entertainment Associates is a real estate corporation that acquires, develops, owns and manages indoor amusement facilities.

“JLL PDS began engagement on the project in mid-2019 to support the planning and design phase of this exciting renovation in the city of Danbury,” said Joseph Denn, vice president for JLL PDS. “We are thrilled to have represented Danbury Entertainment Associates in delivering this family-oriented facility that will prove fun for all ages.”

JLL’s Project and Development Services division assists clients through all stages of challenging capital projects, with an emphasis on managing scope, cost, schedule, and the mitigation of risk.  JLL PDS first works with clients to define their project success criteria, then assembles the professional team required to deliver the project successfully to completion.  JLL PDS has a diverse practice, accomplishing projects of all sizes, building types, and serving many different industries.

“During the early phases of this concept I had considered managing the development, planning and implementation myself. Through a friend, I was introduced to JLL, and since our initial meeting, I never looked back. I must admit, I don’t know how I would’ve been able to do this project without them. With a critical eye on construction, and further attention to detail, JLL has saved my company well over $500,000 during the design and bidding phase of the project, and an additional $260,000 during construction through value engineering. They are an impressive team, providing a wealth of knowledge and experience which spans from commercial real estate, to planning, development and construction. I am truly fortunate to be supported by JLL PDS on the Xtreme Play Adrenaline Park project. Xtreme Play Adrenaline Park will certainly be an exciting and stimulating addition to the entertainment industry in Danbury,” said James Bonheur, owner of Danbury Entertainment Associates.

“The XtremePlay Adrenaline Park project is another example of our growing practice throughout Fairfield County,” said Don Bucci, managing director of JLL PDS’s office which serves Connecticut and Greater New York.

“We are currently providing project management and owner’s representation services on various projects in Stamford, Greenwich, Danbury, Norwalk, and Wilton.”
