Kaplan Construction named among the Largest Family-Owned Businesses in Massachusetts

Boston, MA Kaplan Construction, a WBE general contractor and construction management firm providing comprehensive building programs across Greater Boston, has been named to the annual list of the Largest Family-Owned Businesses in Massachusetts published by the Boston Business Journal (BBJ). The list includes Massachusetts-headquartered companies that are owned, 51% or more, by two or more family members or married partners. This is the fourth time Kaplan has been ranked on this list.

Founded in 1976, Kaplan Construction’s experienced staff have worked together for decades, building a strong portfolio of renovation and new construction projects for commercial, healthcare, multi-family, and worship clients. In 2014, Kaplan completed a three-year management transition during which Jane Kaplan Peck became chief operating officer (COO) and majority owner, and Nathan Peck assumed the role of president – positions they continue to hold today.

“Nearly five decades after our founding, we’re proud to remain a family-run business rooted in trust, stability, and longevity,” said Kaplan Peck. “Family ownership is our greatest asset, and we’re honored to be recognized by the BBJ for it.”
