LCB Senior Living gains approval for 72,600 s/f Salem Woods

LCB Senior Living, the region's fastest-growing senior housing developer and manager, has received planning board approval to construct The Residence at Salem Woods, located at 6 Sally Sweet's Way. The 72,600 s/f, 84-apartment building will include a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, and will feature a Reflections Memory Care wing. The residence will also include a variety of common areas: living rooms, library, computer room, private dining, entertainment, recreation, cafes and others. The landscaped grounds will include walking paths for residents, sitting areas, gardens and other amenities. Over the past six weeks, LCB has acquired existing communities in Reading and Dartmouth, Mass., has won approval of new communities in Easton and Ashland, Mass., and is closing in on three additional communities in northern New England. Construction is expected to commence this fall, and be completed early 2016.
