LEGO Discovery Center and Boston Bruins bring
care packages to children at Mass General for Children

Boston, MA Children at Mass General for Children (MGfC) were presented with care packages from LEGO Discovery Center Boston and the Boston Bruins. In honor of the Bruins Centennial Year, the two organizations collaborated to bring 100 care packages including tickets to LEGO Discovery Center Boston, LEGO builds, Bruins gear and more to children at the hospital.

Last month, Boston Bruins Kids Club members and LEGO Discovery Center Boston’s Mini Model Builders met at the Discovery Center to box up these 100 care packages. Kids club members and mini builders had the chance to build a LEGO bear, the same build included in the care packages, with a master model builder and write personalized notes that were included in the care packages.

Master model builder, Sean Martin, and princess Argenta from LEGO Discovery Center participated in the special delivery along with Dr. Allan Goldstein, surgeon-in-chief at MGfC and Sandy McGee, executive director of MGfC. Also in attendance was Bruins Foundation president, Bob Sweeney, to share in the joy with the children and families at Mass General Hospital.

“It was a special day at Mass General for Children,” said Sweeney. “Giving kids and families the LEGO Discovery Center and Bruins care packages brought smiles to many through an otherwise difficult time. The Bruins are currently playing in round one of the NHL Playoffs and it’s great to be able to share some of that excitement with the families at MGfC today.”

This may seem self-serving, and I’ll be the first to admit it. But unlike some of the artificial intelligence tools now reshaping our industry, I am fully aware of my own bias. So, hear me out. The rise of AI in commercial real estate is not a distant threat or a speculative headline.
