Linear Retail Properties acquires 4,600 s/f at 745 South Street

Roslindale, MA Linear Retail Properties, LLC has acquired 745 South St., a 4,600 s/f single-story retail property.

The property is located downtown Roslindale Village and is leased to Unleashed, Petco’s urban store concept. Unleashed has similar product offerings to Petco, but is a smaller model created for urban markets. The store opened on September 17.

The property was purchased from Beck Realty Trust for $1.6 million. The buyer was represented in the transaction by Jonathan Aron of KeyPoint Partners.

Joe Beck of Beck Realty Trust said, “Linear Retail worked closely with me over the past ten months to get us to the closing table. The Linear team was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with throughout the sale process.”       

Lauren Rogers, asset manager of Linear Retail said, “This is our 20th property in the city of Boston but our first in Roslindale. We look forward to being part of the Village retail community.”

Goldberg of Spire Investments purchases Beverly portfolio for $9.2m

Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.
