Narragansett, RI Residential Properties Ltd. completed the $750,000 sale of “Four Gables” located in Narragansett Pier with Mary Ann Lisi as the listing agent.
The four bedroom, two-and-a-half bath home was originally built in 1898 by architect, civil engineer, and Woonsocket native Willard Kent who used the property as a summer home. Kent designed many buildings in the state, such as the Woonsocket Opera House and the Narragansett Pier Railroad Station.
A token of 19th century architecture, arts and crafts style homes such as this were built to last, made of sturdy, natural materials like real wood, stone, or brick. The exterior of these houses often have low-pitched roofs, and porches. Inside, fireplaces, exposed beams, open floor plans, and built-ins are all characteristics of this unique architectural style.
Although “Four Gables” has been updated and modernized, many of the original features have been preserved.
The sales agent, Mary Ann Lisi, is an annual multi-million dollar producer and a recipient of a Kent Washington Association of Realtors Circle of Excellence GOLD Award. Among the earliest Realtors to receive a “green” designation, Lisi represents buyers and sellers, while specializing in the luxury real estate market, including oceanfront homes, country estates, historic and antique properties, and vacation homes.
