MANSARD facilitates sale of retail condo for $1.5m to NU Kitchen

Newburyport, MA MANSARD has facilitated the sale of 19 Pleasant St. Unit 1. The storefront retail condo features 3,185 s/f on the first floor and 2,952 s/f on the lower level and was completely gutted at the time of sale. The condo was one of the most expensive retail transactions in town in the last two years, trading for $1.5 million, or $244 per s/f.

Jeremy Cyrier and Taylor Saulnier of Mansard Commercial Properties of Andover represented both the buyer and seller in the transaction. The property sold for 100% of its asking price.

The buyer, Josh Van Dyke plans to begin renovation this Spring and in preparation of their third restaurant location for NU Kitchen.

“We are thrilled to be bringing NU Kitchen to downtown Newburyport. We’ve fallen in love with this charming town and decided to move our family and really lay our roots in this community. NU Kitchen is a healthy, fast casual restaurant where we combine our passion for entertaining with our commitment to a healthy lifestyle. Thanks to Taylor and the team at Mansard for helping making this dream happen,” said Van Dyke.
