Margulies Perruzzi Architects completes 2,700 Leader Bank's first Boston branch at 50 Northern Ave. in the Seaport district

Margulies Perruzzi Architects (MPA) completed the design of Leader Bank's first Boston branch, located on the ground level of the waterfront towers located at 50 Northern Ave. in the Seaport District. Founded in 2002, Leader Bank is one of Massachusetts's newest community bank dedicated to helping businesses and individuals achieve their financial goals by offering competitive solutions in commercial lending, private and retail banking. Leader Bank selected MPA to design a technology-rich and modern branch that melds into the Seaport District's culture of entrepreneurship and innovation. With a goal to provide the highest level of customer service, Leader Bank remains innovative and responsive to changing customer demands in the delivery of financial products and personal service. The new branch, across the street from bustling District Hall, is designed to offer customers personal service and electronic conveniences in an efficient bank space. MPA's design for Leader Bank's 2,700 s/f branch fosters a feeling of hospitality for the bank's technology savvy customers, with prominent branding, electronic displays and comfortable seating. Retail banking is conducted at a teller line that resembles a bar with stools, and electronic displays and kiosks are incorporated throughout the space. The bank's signature red color is featured on back-painted glass walls and LED lighting, and booth seating and comfortable furniture provide a variety of seating options for customers, colleagues, and neighbors. Leader Bank's branch also offers a 24/7 ATM and consulting areas for personal and business banking and residential mortgage needs. "MPA understood from day one the importance of translating our customized banking approach and unmatched customer service into an enticing design concept," said Sushil Tuli, president and CEO of Leader Bank. "Our new branch location in the Seaport District brings us closer to our entrepreneurial and commercial banking customers and provides a technology-focused and comfortable environment to develop those relationships as we continue to expand our presence in the banking industry." Leader Bank has become a leader in commercial and small business lending, participating in both the Small Business Administration Lending Fund Program and the Massachusetts Small Business Partnership. Leader Bank has also assisted tens of thousands of Massachusetts residents in realizing their dream of home ownership, and currently ranks as the fifth largest home purchase loan lender in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.50 Northern Avenue - Boston, MA
