Metayer named general manager at Tecta

Portland, ME According to Tecta America New England,  Darren Metayer has been named general manager of the Portland office.

Metayer earned an associate’s degree in architectural and engineering design from SMCC, subsequently working as a tapered designer/estimator at Hunter Panels before joining the Tecta America New England team as a junior estimator in 2017. He was promoted to senior estimator in March 2020 and was deeply involved in preconstruction project management and operations. Last year Metayer became director of operations at Tecta, followed by his recent promotion to general manager of the Portland branch on January 1 of this year.
