Middlesex Federal Savings names Barrett as senior vice president and senior loan officer

Somerville, MA Middlesex Federal Savings has appointed Leo Barrett, Jr., as senior vice president and senior loan officer. He will replace Peter Bazzinotti, who will be retiring after a transition period.

Before joining Middlesex Federal, Barrett was executive vice president and chief lending officer at Wakefield Co-operative Bank. He also worked at Digital Federal Credit Union and Sun Life Financial.

Barrett has an extensive background in commercial real estate, construction, small business, and residential lending, along with experience in underwriting, compliance, origination, and servicing.
