Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty brokers $2.9 million sale

Providence, RI Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty has completed the sale of 540 Blackstone Blvd., for $2.9 million. The sellers were represented by Michael Sweeney of  The Sweeney Advisory Group, sales associates of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. The buyers were represented by Teri Degnan of Teri Degnan Real Estate and Consulting.

According to data from the Multiple Listing Service, this is the second highest sale in the city for 2026. The Sweeney Advisory Group has participated in five of the top six residential sales in the municipality year-to-date.

Originally built with the architectural character typical of the East Side, the home has been fully renovated to blend timeless design with modern comfort. The updated kitchen features Thermador appliances and Carrara marble counters, while the primary suite includes a dressing room and a spa-like bath with soaking tub, glass shower, and sauna. 

Blackstone Boulevard, the mile-long parkway designed by the Olmsted Brothers landscape architecture firm, remains one of Providence’s most iconic residential settings and a defining feature of the East Side.
