Musilli of RHYS Commercial leases 1,000 s/f to Sports Clips at Milford Marketplace

Sport Clips has signed its first franchise location in Conn. along the well-trafficked Boston Post Rd. corridor. The sports-themed barber shop, which was recently ranked in the top 50 in growth for the sixth straight year in Entrepreneur Magazine's Franchise 500, is expected to open its 1,000 s/f store in the spring. Dominick Musilli, an executive vice president at RHYS Commercial and head of its retail division, represented Sport Clips in its five-year lease at Milford Marketplace, the 111,000 s/f lifestyle center at 1650 Boston Post Rd. The landlord, CBL and Associates, represented itself in the deal. "Sport Clips will be rolling out new stores in our market and we felt that the highly visible Milford Marketplace was the right place for the company to open the first one. They have a unique concept that I believe will attract the interest of landlords of major shopping centers in the area," said Musilli.
