NAI Hunneman brokers $2.63 million sale at 916-932 Highland Avenue
NAI Hunneman, a leading provider of commercial real estate services, recently brokered the $2.63 million sale of an 8,606 s/f retail strip center located at 916-932 Highland Ave. in the heart of Needham Center to Alphi LLC.
Executive vice president David Ross, assisted by sales associate Gina Barroso represented the seller MMM Property LLC.
"Needham Center has always been a sought after retail destination with strong demographics," said Ross. "Along with location, the seller did a great job redeveloping this site into a first class retail asset, with a quality tenant roster which made this an appealing opportunity to local investors."
916-932 Great Plain Ave. is located within the heart of Needham Center's retail district.
The property is home to two first-class retail tenants and offers easy access to both public transportation via the commuter rail, as well as Rte. 128 which connects to Interstates 95, 93 & 90 (the Massachusetts Tpke.) making Downtown Boston, Logan International Airport and destinations north, south, and west well within reach.
Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.
Now what? As the year comes to a close, the state of retail is always in the news. The answers vary greatly depending on who in the various related industries you ask, each offering a unique lens on the challenges and opportunities ahead.
This may seem self-serving, and I’ll be the first to admit it. But unlike some of the artificial intelligence tools now reshaping our industry, I am fully aware of my own bias. So, hear me out. The rise of AI in commercial real estate is not a distant threat or a speculative headline.
