NAI Norwood Group sells former Granite Rose for $2.4 million

June 02, 2017 - Northern New England

Hampstead, NH NAI Norwood Group completed the sale of the former Granite Rose located at 22 Garland Dr. The 32,000 s/f event and function center was sold on April 28, in the amount of $2.4 million according to the N.H. Registry of Deeds. Matt Bacon, Pam Lynch, and Karl Norwood, from NAI Norwood Group, represented the seller. Bacon also assisted the buyer.

“It was a pleasure working for the former ownership to bring another operator into the Northeastern U.S. market to expand their brand and restore the facility to the functioning beauty that it was once known for,” said Bacon.

One of the challenges in selling this property was finding the right buyer. Bacon reached out across the country in search of the perfect fit. The buyer, Z Golf Food & Beverage, provides management for golf course food and beverage and wedding & banquet services. Z-Golf operates a collection of banquet and meeting centers under the Wedgewood Wedding & Banquet Center brand. They have decided to keep the Granite Rose name, and it will become Wedgewood Granite Rose. By combining the nationally recognized Wedgewood name with the locally renowned Granite Rose, the center will be booked and back up and running very soon.
