New England SIOR Chapter meets with Big Brother/Big Sister
Greg Klemmer, SIOR Chapter president has made it a mission of the chapter to work with Big Brother/Big Sister. An Awareness Night was held on May 13 with the leaders of Big Brother/Big Sister at Landsdowne Pub, Fenway Park. On behalf of Big Brother/Big Sister, Wendy Foster, president and CEO of Big Brother/Big Sister Mass Bay; Adrian Hancock, vice president of marketing; and Andrew Schad attended the event. Approximately 16 SIORs and SIOR Candidates and Big Brother/Big Sister members attended this orientation meeting.
The meeting allowed the members a networking opportunity and to share first hand experiences with Big Brother/Big Sister of Massachusetts Bay. Klemmer is hoping that SIOR members will volunteer their time to work with Big Brother/Big Sister and mentor kids (7-13) in the Boston area. Klemmer has been involved with the organization himself since 1984 as a Big Brother and has mentored kids post-college. He feels that this is a good venue for SIOR members to give back to the community with time rather just donating money.
Klemmer gave an overview of the program at the April Chapter Landlord Featured breakfast. He felt that this first meeting was successful and plans future events with Big Brother/Big Sister. BB/BS of Mass Bay is the largest professionally supporting mentoring organization in New England, impacting thousands of deserving children.

The Boston industrial market entered mid-2025 in a bifurcated state. Large-block vacancy remains elevated, while shallow-bay along the 495/128 corridor continues to prove resilient. Fieldstone’s focus on this geography positions us squarely in the middle of a renewal-driven, supply-constrained
