New England SIOR holds an Evening on the Water August 20
The New England SIOR Chapter had 20 attendees at its 2nd Evening on the Water held Thursday, August 20 at 5:30 p.m. This social and networking event was held at the Atlantic Beer Garden on Seaport Blvd. next to Anthony's Pier 4. The restaurant is situated on the Boston Harbor with a glass view of the harbor itself and an outdoor patio sitting area. It is a popular meeting place for young business people working in the financial district of Boston and living in the South Boston and Convention Center area.
This is the second time that the SIOR Chapter has held this event this summer at The Atlantic Beer Garden due to the success of its first event in late June. The event allowed the up and coming commercial brokers to meet with the senior commercial practitioners who have earned their SIOR accreditation and to discuss the state of the economy and commercial real estate market conditions. Appetizers and beverages were furnished by the SIOR Chapter. Greg Klemmer welcomed everyone in the SIOR reserved area of the establishment and discussed the SIOR Chapter Scholarship awarded each year to a young commercial broker to attend the SIOR national course.
