North Branch Construction, Inc. has completed construction of the Brown School Apartments, converting the former school into 34 units of senior housing. The project cost was $4.6 million. Construction included a 16,700 s/f addition and renovation of the 18,600 s/f existing 3-story building. The existing building was gutted (including lead and asbestos abatement) and converted into 16 apartment units. The addition includes 18 apartments.
The building is owned by the Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority. Burnell-Johnson Architects provided the architectural design for the project.
