O'Connor and Allen of NAI The Dunham Group named leasing agents for 30,000 s/f at the Goodall Health Center

In a move toward centralized, high-tech service on a local level, developers Shape Drive Medical Center, LLC have opened the new Goodall Health Center at 7 Shape Dr. Frank O'Connor and Katherine Allen of NAI The Dunham Group are currently offering over 30,000 s/f of the center's medical office space for lease. The Goodall Health Center was designed for patient convenience and built around the idea of community-centered health care. Located off Rte. 1 with close proximity to I-95, the facility offers an inviting campus-like setting with space allocated for primary care, outpatient procedures, and other complementary services. Three areas of emphasis at the center will be convenience, patient privacy, and preventative care. The center's largest tenant, Primary Care Medical Group, opened its 54-room office at the site in September 2008 with great success. The opening marked a merger between The Medical Group, a primary care center with roots in Kennebunk dating back to 1975, and Goodall Hospital, a nonprofit community hospital based in Sanford. The merger allows the Kennebunk community continued access to the Medical Group's primary care doctors in an improved facility with a host of new conveniences like outpatient and specialty care. Goodall Hospital is also slated to open a 30,000 s/f Outpatient Center at the site this summer. The Outpatient Center will offer digital mammography, mobile CT, endoscopy, respiratory and stress testing, sleep lab, and minor surgical procedures. New specialty tenants who join the Goodall Health Center will benefit from easy access to these outpatient services. Tenants will also share many valuable campus amenities, including a state of the art fitness center, a pharmacy, and a café. A well-equipped, shared conference room is available as well, and is set up perfectly for community-based meetings or professional presentations. The opportunity to work in such close proximity with the thriving Medical Group and the Outpatient Center will offer new tenants excellent potential for specialized medical referrals. Space can be subdivided down to 1,500 s/f, and build-to-suit options are available based on the tenants' needs. All in all, Goodall Health Center and its new occupants promise to be a fundamentally positive addition to the healthcare community in Kennebunk and throughout Southern Maine.
