J. Todd Galleries, one of New England's foremost fine art showplaces, has renewed its lease for 3,200 s/f at 572 Washington St. (The Rotunda Building).
Frank O'Neill, broker for The Grossman Companies, Inc., represented the landlord, Rotunda Realty Trust, and the tenant in the negotiations. The property is adjacent to a new condo development, formerly the site of the Wellesley Inn and is convenient to shops, restaurants, public transportation, Rte. 128, and the Mass. Pike.
Owner Bob Totaro said J. Todd Galleries, established in 1980, is one of the largest sources for original artwork in New England, with thousands of works by living American and European artists. The gallery offers appraisals and restorations and provides advice on collecting and decorating.
Earlier this year, O'Neill signed leases with three new tenants in the building: Christopher Hall, architect; attorney Keith Halpern; and Natural Gas Partners, an investment management firm. A total of 1,760 s/f is available for lease in the building.
Among long-time tenants in the building are Anderson Jewelers, Amarin II, Rutledge Properties, Nails on File, and Truly Yogurt. Second-floor office tenants include several physicians, financial advisors and other professionals.
