Olympus Group completes two sales totaling $1.9 million

The Olympus Group has sold a 24-unit "garden center" style residential property known as "50 West" along Rte. 117 for $1.2 million. Greenwich bay Development, a residential redevelopment consortium, as Fifty West Apartments, LLC, has added the complex to their Rhode Island portfolio, and has begun a major renovation campaign. Gregory Micallef and Richard Amato, both principals of Olympus Group Real Estate represented the seller, Jay Five Realty, LLC and procured Greenwich as the buyer. In another transaction, Olympus Group and ReMax Central have sold Weybosset Center for $700,000. The brick office complex is located at 259-261-263 Weybosset St. in Providence. The 4-level, 11,150 s/f property will be renovated for ground level commercial use and upper level student residential occupancy. Micallef represented the seller, U.S. Investment and Development Corp. Suzanne Viner, of ReMax Central represented the buyer, Weybosset LLC.
