Opechee Const. completes 55,455 s/f Derry Business Center

Developer Astoria Properties LLC and design-builder Opechee Construction Corp. recently completed the Derry Business Center, a 55,455 s/f business "flex" condominium at Corporate Park Dr. The building consists of four units ranging in size from 11,000 to 15,500 s/f, each with with 20' clear height and a dock-height loading door and a drive-in door. The building façade features a high-tech look with white smooth-skin architectural panels above reflective glass and contrasting split-face masonry block.
Martel Electronics Corp. of Londonderry is now occupying a 19,861 s/f in the new facility. Martel designs and manufactures portable and laboratory grade process calibrators for temperature, pressure and electrical parameters. Operations manager Lisa Nikitas of Martel Electronics said, "how pleased and thrilled we are with our new space. We have received so many compliments on how beautiful it is." Nikitas added "It was such a pleasure to work with Astoria and Opechee, whenever we had a change or question they were very accommodating."
Summit Records Management (a division of Northeast Reclaiming Services, Inc. of Derry) is now occupying 16,855 s/f. Summit stores and manages medical records and medical imaging films for a variety of health care providers.

Both the Martel Electronics and Summit/Northeast Reclaiming transactions were brokered by Ralph Valentine of Grubb & Ellis | Coldstream, who also brokered the sale of the land to the facility's developer, Astoria Props.
