Powers & Co. handle 2 leases for Prana Yoga and 276 Highland Ave.
Leslie Cotter and Mary Powers of Powers & Co. represented the landlord in the lease of 2,550 s/f to Prana Power Yoga. They have joined Whole Foods, Toys' R' Us and Rite Aid at Horn Pond Plaza in Winchester, Mass. Prana Power Yoga has been named by Travel & Leisure magazine as one of the top 25 yoga studios in the world.Â
The 153,885 s/f shopping center just underwent a major renovation including storefronts, landscaping and pylon signage. Â
Cotter also brokered the new development at 276 Highland Ave. in Salem. Centercorp Retail Properties renovated this former Salvation Army building into a class A neighborhood retail center.  Mattress Giant just celebrated its grand opening and will be joined by Supercuts next month.Â

Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.
Now what? As the year comes to a close, the state of retail is always in the news. The answers vary greatly depending on who in the various related industries you ask, each offering a unique lens on the challenges and opportunities ahead.
